OUR STORY
As a concerned parent, I founded Glean Tutors after noticing a significant learning gap among elementary-aged children in reading, writing, and math. Evidence shows that students who lack foundational skills in these areas during the elementary years can face significant consequences for their long-term academic success. With the distractions of social media and technology, overcrowded classrooms, and overburdened teachers, children often lack the individualized attention they need. In my quest to find tutors for my child over the years, I struggled to find highly qualified, diverse tutors who could truly connect with students from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Having a tutor who can develop a strong connection with a child can have a significant impact on the child's confidence and willingness to learn. Glean tutors provides a solution to these challenges. Driven by love for my own child and a deep belief that every child deserves the support necessary for academic success, Glean Tutors was born.
